Academics
We take academics seriously at Heritage. Very seriously, in fact. But we’ve learned that academic rigor doesn’t require making learning boring or stressful.
Our academic program follows the CBSE curriculum-no surprises there. But how we teach it? That’s where things get interesting. We’ve woven experiential learning throughout every subject, transforming potentially dry topics into engaging explorations that students actually want to pursue.
Take mathematics. Instead of just solving equations on paper, students might use math to design sustainable architecture models or analyze data from real-world scenarios. Science isn’t confined to textbooks-our laboratories are places where students ask “what if?” and then find out. Social studies becomes more meaningful when students connect historical events to current issues they care about.
We’re big believers in project-based learning because it develops skills that matter: critical thinking, collaboration, communication, creativity. These aren’t just educational buzzwords to us-they’re capabilities our students will actually need in their lives and careers.
The New Education Policy 2023 emphasizes many of the things we’ve been practicing: interdisciplinary approaches, flexible learning, holistic development. We’re not just preparing students to ace their board exams (though they do). We’re preparing them to be adaptable thinkers who can tackle complex problems, work effectively with others, and keep learning throughout their lives.
That’s the kind of academic program worth building.
