Behes

In these changing times, we want to see our students excel not only in academics but also leadership, public speaking, and critical thinking. Behes is India’s largest debating platform, and we are proud to say that we have hosted it twice previously.

The event consists of students talking for upto four minutes each on any topic ranging from current affairs to discussing past events, after researching and planning out their speeches for fifteen minutes with their teams of two or three people. It helps participants develop crucial life skills such as critical thinking, public speaking, leadership, time management. The unique and engrossing topics also help nurture creativity and allow students to understand, comprehend and develop opinions on various topics in ways not thought of before, opening their eyes to the fascinating way that the world works, as well as teaching them more about various topics regarding science, social studies and more due to the integration of the topics with the subjects the learners study at school.

Moreover, the skills and experience that the participants recieve from this event helps them take on future endeavours and participate further in various internships, workshops and more events. They discover the world of debating and their passion and excitement to discover an entirely new field of interest sparks in them after their first event. The hands on experience and skills that debating teaches them help them become better leaders in the future. Therefore, events such as Behes teach our learners not only the joy and beauty of public speaking, but also help them explore new areas, further discover themselves, and provide them with a platform to express and develop their own views and opinions.

Disputes are governed by New Delhi, India laws, with proceedings held there.
