THSVK MUN 2024

THSVK MUN has become a cornerstone of our academic calendar, creating a dynamic and inclusive space for learning, debate, research, public speaking, and negotiation. Our Model United Nations offers delegates a unique opportunity to engage deeply with global issues and international relations, helping them refine their perspectives and skills.

This year’s event was particularly significant as we welcomed delegates from various external schools, including government schools. Their participation enriched the conference, adding new dimensions and reflecting our commitment to inclusion.

Our theme, “Resurgence from Ruins,” celebrates the human spirit’s resilience and its ability to rebuild and rejuvenate in the aftermath of natural disasters. As we stand on the brink of a new era, we are more aware of the tools we have to shape a bright and promising future through collective strength, unity, and determination. The conference featured a diverse range of committees and agendas, from the UNHRC to the Grammys.

This year, THSVK MUN proudly partnered with Ixigo and HDFC, further elevating the event’s profile. We were honored to have distinguished Chief Guests, including Col. Naveen Reddy, who shared insights from his 27 years of service in the army and UN Peacekeeping missions, and Mr. Lim from the High Commission of Singapore, who offered his perspectives on diplomacy and foreign services.

As a student-led conference, THSVK MUN 2024 has fostered diverse perspectives, enriching the educational experience and equipping delegates to become informed, engaged, and compassionate global citizens. It has been a perfect blend of drama, debate, and enjoyable learning, leaving a lasting impact on all who participated.
